It’s easy to see why the name fits the man. From the Detroit suburbs, Brilliance is an amazing talent who crosses all musical styles to create something new, fresh, and exciting. His unique style has been influenced by a diverse list of musicians including Nas, Tupac, Eminem, Hendrix, Clapton and Marley.
Creativity has always been Brilliance’s strongest asset. A graphic designer, producer, writer and emcee—he has what it takes to become a superstar household name. He is a hard-working artist who believes that the road to the top is paved with persistence, fortitude, and a positive attitude. Brilliance believes in himself so much that he hit the streets of Detroit and showed the city what a strong self-promoter he is. As an unsigned artist, Brilliance has released over a dozen singles in the Detroit market, most of which received on-air mix-show support on nearly every major radio station in the area (Channel955 / ClearChannel – Top40, FM98 WJLB / ClearChannel – Urban, 98.7 AMP Radio / CBS Radio – Top40, HOT107.5 / Radio One – Urban & more.)

In 2011, Brill signed a production deal with Grammy & Oscar Award Winning producer Jeff Bass (best known for his work with Eminem). Not soon after, Brill’s music video for the single, “One Day” was featured on Comcast On Demand, HavocTV,,, AOL‘s The Boombox, MTV Canada & more major networks. He was then featured as a contestant on MTVU’s “The Freshman” contest, beating the competition with a final count of 81% of the votes. In 2012, Brilliance headlined Student City’s Spring Break in Cancun, Mexico. Performing at all the hottest nightclubs & events, including MTV’s Jersey Shore party, and Lil Jon’s party at “The City” where he performed while shooting footage for his next video, “Where Did I Go”.

Recently, Brill parted ways with Jeff Bass Music and is currently working on his next release in studio with longtime friend & major Detroit producer, Asar (best known for his work with Royce Da 5’9″ & Eminem).
